The Two Famous Princess in the World

‘Happily ever after.’ You may hear of this phrase. The phrase common used in princess’s story. Among lots of princess fairy tales, these two stories are most common and famous story which Cinderella and Snow White. Cinderella and Snow White is one of the most famous princesses in the world. Maybe, every person in the world would be known these fairy tales. Those stories are so famous to mention it, but there are few people to compare Cinderella and Snow White. Have you ever thought Cinderella's origin? How about Snow White’s history? From just fairy tale story to as Disney's symbol princess, two stories have long history according to that there is story variation you have not known.
             Snow White and Cinderella both get changed through hundred years. The first version of Snow White is quite different from the modern version. According to ‘Wikipedia’ the Brothers Grimm published it in 1812 in the first edition of their collection Grimms' Fairy Tales. In a version, the Queen was Snow White’s real mother. She wanted a beautiful daughter, but when her mirror tells her that Snow White is more beautiful than she is, she gets jealous and grows to hate her. Snow White’s mother does not order a servant to take her to the woods, but takes her there herself to gather flowers and abandons her. On the other hand, for a later version which published from Walt Disney, the King had the first Queen die in childbirth, and then the King marries a woman. The Queen tolerates Snow White and makes Snow White killed. But Snow White doesn’t die and spend her life happily with the princess. How about Cinderella story? Cinderella story gets changed through thousands, too. living in The oldest documented version comes from China and the oldest European version from Italy. The oldest one which from china’s story is like that. The hardworking and lovely girl befriends a fish, the reincarnation of her mother, who was killed by her stepmother and sister. Ye Xian saves the bones, which are magic, and they help her dress appropriately for the New Year Festival. When she loses her slipper after being recognized by her stepfamily, the king finds her slipper and falls in love with her. Meanwhile, from modern version, Cinderella be afflicted with stepmother and sister. One day, prince hold a party and Cinderella barely go to the party. Prince crushed on her. Then prince found her with her lost glass shoes. Finally, prince found her and they lived happily ever after. Both Cinderella and Snow White are quite different from original one.
Also, pretty girl, adversity, prince and happily ever after ending are same plot of Cinderella and Snow White. Pretty girl is bullied by a step mother, but the pretty girl has a great personality so she endures all the torment. Later, the pretty girl receives help from a good person. Finally, she meets a prince and married. Both Cinderella and Snow White have this story line. Nevertheless, there is difference between Cinderella and Snow White story. A difference begins with birth. Snow White born as a novel person, however Cinderella born as commoner which is not novel. Actually, in some version of Cinderella Cinderella character set up as a novel person, but I would compare the modern version to avoid confusing. Two princess’s personality is also different. Cinderella is active person. On the other hand, Snow White is a passive person. Cinderella does hard work to avoid bully then find the way to go to the party. By contrast, Snow White do nothing to meet a prince or to survive. Always Snow White’s weapon is a pretty face and good personality. When she is endangered to die,
Princess story inspires girls who living on earth. Especially Snow White and Cinderella story is 

 classic of princess story. Fairytale is always popular in childhood, that’s why fairy tale’s story is

  important. According to social environment change, stories are changed. The modern story, which 

 published by Walt Disney, have little sexist. A representative example is Snow White. The pretty girl 

 have passive character always smile and happy. The story arrives at conclusion with marriage. This 

 image of the princess could make girl passive person. Also, the girl could think ‘The girl should 

 always smile. Meeting price and marriage’. These plots do not fit for now. ‘Good is win’ or 

 ‘Someday there is happy ending’ could be a good lesson, but ‘Girl can be anything’ or ‘Girl do not need to be passive person’ does need in this era.
